Brooke A. O’Neil brings more than two decades of family law experience to Hemmat Law Group. Having practiced for nearly 22 years in Idaho, Brooke’s work has spanned complex divorce, custody, and parenting plan matters, with at least half of her caseload consistently rooted in family law.
Throughout her career, Brooke has demonstrated a deep commitment to public service and access to justice. She was twice honored with the Denise O’Donnell-Day Award in recognition of her volunteer work and community impact. Brooke is also a graduate of the Idaho Academy of Leadership for Lawyers, reflecting her dedication to leadership within the legal profession.
In 2023, Brooke relocated to Washington to serve as the staff attorney for the Skagit Justice Project with the Northwest Justice Project, where she provided legal advocacy for survivors of domestic violence in protection order and family law cases. This experience further cemented her reputation for compassionate, strategic advocacy in sensitive and emotionally charged matters.
Brooke earned her Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she served as an editor for the Technology Law Journal. She now brings her depth of litigation experience, leadership, and client-focused service to Hemmat Law Group’s family law practice.
Outside of her legal work, Brooke enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest, volunteering in her community, and spending time with her family.
