Carolyn Stevens is the Director of Talent at Hemmat Law Group, where she leads talent acquisition and supports operations and HR initiatives firmwide. She works closely with leadership to grow the team intentionally, with a focus on thoughtful hiring, strong onboarding, and building a positive, supportive employee experience as the firm continues to scale.

Carolyn began her career as a paralegal assistant at a boutique litigation firm, giving her early exposure to legal operations and law firm environments. She later joined Perkins Coie, where she managed full-cycle recruiting for staff roles and supported attorney hiring across the firm. She went on to work at Ontra, a legal technology company, where she started on the legal recruiting team before transitioning into a talent management role. There, she oversaw recruiting operations, candidate experience, sourcing, and employer branding, while partnering closely with leadership on hiring strategy.

With a strong focus on people and process, Carolyn is committed to building teams that are well supported and set up to succeed. She values clear communication, practical systems, and creating an environment where employees feel empowered to do their best work.

Outside of work, Carolyn enjoys long walks with her dog, Pippa, exploring new restaurants, trying new recipes, and traveling. She also loves spending time with family and friends.
