Katie is HLG’s most experienced staff litigator, leading the firm’s investigations and due diligence unit. She works as an Extension Lecturer teaching civil procedure to students at the UW.
Growing up on the east coast, Ms. Olson is originally from northern New Jersey. She attended Mount St. Mary’s University located in Emmitsburg, Maryland, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics and minor in Business. She was also a member of the University’s Division I softball team.
Upon graduating from the Mount in 2019, she ventured to Seattle to attend the University of Washington’s Paralegal Studies program. She earned her Paralegal Certification in 2020 while working at Brothers & Henderson, P.S.. She went on to become a Paralegal focusing on probate, estate administration, and estate planning work.
Ms. Olson made the pivot to family law in 2022, and she supports the Firm’s probate litigation department to this day.
Outside of the law firm, Ms. Olson enjoys yoga classes, running her book club, and going on adventures with her Siberian Husky, Zoey.
