And to top it off, most quality attorneys (including us) won’t accept legal insurance because insurers make it intentionally difficult to get our fees paid.
So, we decided to cut out the middleman.
By leveraging a subscription model, we can offer steeper discounts on our fees for only a few dollars per person, without any caps.

If Hemmat Law can’t help with a specific legal issue, we will assist your employees in their search to find another office that can. We will also educate them on the norms of the legal industry, how to hire an attorney generally, and their basic rights as a recipient of legal services.

When an employee or executive has large assets at stake in their case, but no liquid assets to pay for litigation up front, Hemmat Law can agree to take their fees out of the dissolution of marital assets at the end of the case. This allows for high quality legal representation, without any of the up-front costs of trial or motions practice. A superior version of Fee Repayment Plan eligibility.

Sometimes, employees might want the option to pay for their lawyer over time. This perk allows Hemmat Law to offer their services on an amortized basis, without the up-front cost. Employees will still have to make monthly payments throughout the duration of their case, but no large assets are required to be at issue to apply for a payment plan.

You can choose to pay quarterly, biannually, or annually. We’re not able to provide monthly billing. The longer you commit, the steeper discounts we’re able to offer you on subscription prices. Choosing the quarterly structure (pay every 3 months) will be the full cost of the benefit program. If you choose biannually (pay every 6 months) you receive a 15% discount on the total cost. However if you choose the annual commitment (pay every 12 months) we’ll be able to give you a 25% discount. Though frankly, we recommend choosing the annual commitment, so that your employee’s benefit doesn’t disappear before they even need it.
Using Hemmat+ couldn’t be easier. All your employees need to do is reach out to us, verify their employment, and we’ll work with them as our law clients. An example: Michael is a Project Manager at your company, and unfortunately he and his husband of 10 years have decided to get divorced. They have children together and assets to divide. All that Michael needs to do is reach out to The Hemmat Law Group via our website, email, or phone, we’ll verify his employment, and take it all from there. You don’t need to lift a finger. We’ll work Michael’s case with care and compassion, and he’ll see the discount his company afforded him built into every bill. It may still take some time, but Michael’s legal journey will be much smoother because he’s saving some serious money, receiving direct support from his employer, and being served by one of the state’s best family law firms.
We’ll make the set up as easy for you as we can. Our team will work with your HR department to circulate the new benefits offering, and to ensure proper education. Other than a call or two to get to know us and set up your service, you don’t need to do anything.
Everyone in your company who actively works for the business will be covered by the benefits. This does not include equity holders if they aren’t current employees.

There is one important note – we can only serve legal clients who reside in the state of Washington. So if your labor force is split between Washington and Oregon, unfortunately we may not be the right choice.
