Intake Attorney – Hybrid or Remote

The Hemmat Law Group is seeking an Intake Attorney to join our growing family law firm.

This is an ideal role for an attorney who enjoys client interaction, legal analysis, and helping people navigate difficult decisions, but who is not looking for a traditional litigation or caseload-based position.

You will be the first attorney many prospective clients speak with, helping them understand their legal options, setting expectations, and determining whether our firm is the right fit for their matter.

This position may be performed in a hybrid or fully remote capacity, depending on experience and location.

About Us

Founded in 1994 by Steven Amir Hemmat, a former DOJ trial attorney, The Hemmat Law Group represents clients in complex divorce, custody, and high-asset family law matters throughout Washington.

We are known for combining strong advocacy with practical and compassionate guidance. We believe the client experience begins long before a case is opened, and the Intake Attorney plays an important role in shaping that experience.

What Makes This Role Different

This is not a traditional family law attorney position.

You will not carry a caseload. You will not be responsible for court appearances, litigation, discovery disputes, or ongoing case management.

Instead, you will focus on attorney consultations and helping prospective clients understand their options during some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

You will work closely with our intake team to ensure prospective clients receive thoughtful, accurate, and consistent guidance while helping the firm identify matters that are a strong fit for representation.

This role is particularly well suited for an attorney who enjoys client conversations and legal strategy but is looking for a different path than traditional litigation.
