Yina has an extensive background in domestic and family advocacy. She is a Hazelton fellow and passed the Uniform Bar Exam in 2023.
Yina graduated from the University of Washington School of Law in 2023 and joined the Hemmat Law Group as an associate attorney.
Before joining the Hemmat Law Group, she worked as a Victim Services Advocate at the Crystal Judson Family Justice Center, and also has experience with the Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney’s office. She has extensive experience at the University of Washington’s Tribal Court Clinic representing underserved members of the native community.
She is a Hazelton Fellow, the Firm’s 2022 Summer Associate, and former member of both the Washington Law Review and the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association.
